1) Flames will not be tolerated. Any users caught flaming other users, moderators, administrators or any other flames, will be met with a swift and permanent ban. If it is your intent to cause problems, and conflict please leave the site right now. Childish activities like this will not be tolerated here. SORRY!

2) Request for help should be sent directly by PM to Mr. Diesel or a Moderator.

2b) Requests for help regarding problems with the site, broken links, trouble accessing parts of the site, and TECHNICAL matters ONLY should be sent directly by PM to Mr. Diesel. All other questions, should be directed to their appropriate forum. Do not send your car questions to the moderators. You will get a better turn out by posting in the forum.

3) Moderation and Content Control

3a) The moderators are here to make everyone's visit more enjoyable, so if you experience any problems with abusive users, please tell a moderator or PM Mr Diesel. Please do so in Private Message or E-Mail.

3b) Do not post topics or replies containing:

-Subjects which have already been discussed numerous times. Please use the search first. Please try the search or browse through the category which might contain your question. This will help the site become more useful for those trying to find quick answers to basic questions.

- Flames directed towards other users (deleted on sight, possible ban)

- A Double Post. A "double post" is where you post more than once in a thread consecutively. This helps reduce bandwidth and hard drive usage on the server. If you need to add to your previous comment use the "edit" button on that particular post. If for whatever reason you need to make a double post, just make sure you are being courteous to others.

- Any derogatory comments. If your intent is to belittle anyone based on age, gender, race, ethnicity, nationality or religion your post will be deleted and you will be warned. Repeat offenders of this rule may be banned. Debate is allowed (and expected) but please respect others opinions and be courteous!

3c) Although general discussion is rather flexible, please try to stay on topic in the respective forums. Anything not related to a specific forum can be discussed in any of the "Off Topic" or "General" Forums.

3d) We need to try to keep the forums as family friendly as possible, this makes everybody feel welcome.

3e) Do not promote your own site, unless:

-It has to do with the applicable topic

-You have specific permission from a Moderator or Admin

-It has to do with the general site topic (IE: club website)

-It's to help somebody find something they're looking for.

3f) DO NOT make threads relating to or regarding the marketing and advertising of a mass produced product. (IE: Cell phones, electronic car accessories, etc.). It is okay to sell things in the classifieds section, but Dubnetworks.net will not tolerate the usage of bandwidth and hard drive space for the free promotion of your product. These types of advertisements are welcome IF YOU CONTACT THE ADMINISTRATOR (MR. DIESEL) BEFOREHAND! Dubnetworks.net will be willing to display banners or text advertising for car related products at VERY competitive prices or free in some cases. This helps pay for bandwidth and server maintenance. Dubnetworks.net is a non profit organization. These rules apply to every area of the site INCLUDING but not necessarily limited to: a) Signature b) Personal Message c) threads and posts d) Public user profile.

3g) Do not post spam. Spam includes advertisements (see [3f]), content deemed inappropriate or illegal, and flooding of the boards. Spammers will receive a swift and permanent ban. This will not be tolerated under any circumstances

3h) Do not make needless, incessant usage of:

-Emoticons

-Line breaks or ALL-CAPS

-Giant fonts with ugly colors

-Swearing or derogatory terms.

3i) Ensure that your signature:

-Remains a reasonable size (5 lines or less);

-Does not contain excessively large images or annoying animations;

-Follows all the rules applying to posts themselves.

3j) Make sure that your avatar:

-Has a width can no greater than 150 pixels, a height no greater than 100 pixels, and the file size no more than 30 KB.

-Contains no annoying animations. (Most animations okay... just be courteous)

3k) Any argument with another Member, Moderator, or Administrator must be dealt with in a private manner. Arguing within the forum is very discourteous to other users and affects the site reputation. Use respect and courtesy to deal with issues and problems in PRIVATE.

3ka) Please do not argue rules and Terms of Service. There will be no compromise to these rules. If you do not agree to any rules in the Terms of Service you willingly forfeit your right to use Dubnetworks.net

4) You may NOT:

- Use any information on this site to attempt to contact it's users for any reason other than general discussion and automotive talk. No promotions of any kind (site promotion, product promotion, etc) will be allowed.
