Well it seems another cruise is in demand. The vote for this is August 21st, proposed by SLC'98VR6. This cruise is most likely the next best in comparison to the High Uinta/Mirror Lake drive. There is a really cool scenic attraction called Devil's Kitchen just off the road up there, pictured below. It basically looks like a miniature Bryce Canyon.
It would be cool to get opinions on whether to BBQ on the drive, pack a lunch, or stop and eat somewhere. As far as bbq pits in the area up there, I doubt that there is going to be the selection we had on the last cruise. I must say there is a pretty damn good Mexican restaurant in Payson. Feedback on this will be the best way to decide what to do.
The Mt. Nebo scenic byway, a longer cruise, not a long as the Mirror Lake run, maybe half as long depending on how far away you live. Very pretty scenery, another high altitude drive. Lot's of corners and twisties similar to Mirror Lake. Here is a map and some photos. Let me know what you all think.

This is Devil's Kitchen, on the drive. The walk to it is less than the length of a football field. A miniature Bryce Canyon. :P

P.S. I will cross post this into other forums, if we can get a good turnout again it will be another dynamite Utah cruise for us all. I also plan on researching this more carefully so we can avoid any problems like we ran into on the Uinta drive.

If that is the place Sam and I ate after getting the Recaro's in December, yeah. Good food. When are you anticipating hitting the MTC?
It looks like there are around 15 people already planning on this, from Audiworld and the Rocky Mtn forum. It will be interesting to see what kind of turnout we get compared to the Mirror Lake drive. I've noticed that if 50 people plan on it, there are usually 35-40 people who actually come.

Yeah, the food is delicious... I love that place. There is one in Spanish Fork, Provo, and Orem. All around in Utah county.
I won't be in the MTC until late October.

The Payson one is the best though... The owner is there most of the time and watches everything so the food is always way better then any of the other stores.

Pretty sure the enchiladas I got there tasted the same as the ones from Spanish Fork...

I don't know about the bbq idea, it would probably be best just to gauge everyone's interest on it and do a majority vote or something. Either way I am cool. I've gotten wind that there maybe a group coming down from Colorado to join us. Maybe, we'll see. Also it looks like MunKyBoy's VR6T will be there as well. 8O

That would be pretty cool Cody. I rode in Tim's 2.0 X-flow turbo Rabbit today at the mod gtg in Salt Lake, that car made me change my shorts. Extremely quick. It's probably pushing 225+ at the wheels, in a Rabbit non the less.

Sorry, just got concerned about how many people were really interested. Here is a pic of Jessica Biel at the Jetta V unveiling to make up for it.
