Beater Jetta vs. Beater Honduh Civic

So, i was on my way to my girlfriends house the other day and im just crusing at 35 towards a stop sign. Just before i turn, a beater civic goes flying around me and turns right (the direction i was going to turn) in front of me. So that makes me a little mad. I squeeled around the corner in dropped it into second gear at about 5,500 rpm. I speed towards him shifting into third at 5,500 rpm again, not sure how fast i was going, to busy trying to catch him, at 3 grand in third and i catch him, the road we are on has 40 mph corners and i love them cause my car just hugs them like no other, we get to the first one and i shift to fourth as we get there and he slows way down trying to go around the corner, i drop it to third as i have to slow down also so i dont hit him, then the first straight away i blow by him in third gear and shift into fourth going about 65 or so and just keep pulling away from him, as we go around the next two corners he hits the shoulder like crazy sending gravel everywhere and all i see in my rear view mirror is dust and a honduh trying to catch up, by the time hit the fourth corner im doing 70 in fourth and hug the corner, im about 7 car lengths ahead of him. I get sick of it and slam the accelerator to the floor and all i see his the civic getting smaller and smaller in my mirror as i pull away. Damn it was a thrill to get away so easily. and i havnt seen him since either.

Some ricers are so horrible. There is a site that I visit, though, for 'BC import enthusiasts' and it has some VW people but mostly Honda guys. There are some lame people, like a guy with an old Volvo with huge fart can, gigantic wing, decals and black 17 inch rims... but for the most part the guys there have decent cars. They still do the whole fart can / wing thing but they had a post for 1/4 mile times and people were mid-13s to mid-16s on there. Surprised me.

the other day i was taking my girl back to winchester (about a 2 hour drive from where i live here in va) but anyway, i get onto RT29 and get to the stop light at 29/666. there is this little red honda civic reving his fart can laughing at my mk2gli 16v. he has this fine girl with him and hes just reving his motor trying to race, all i heard was an intake and exaughst at first. so i rev my car with the flowmaster set up that came on it and he starts laughing even harder. light turns green and i let him get in front of me. you can tell hes trying to make it faster than what it really is. i get into 3rd gear and hit about 5700 rpms and pull up beside him, laugh and wave to em, i snap 4th gear and my tires chirped as i pulled away on him, by the time i hit 5th gear all i saw in my rear view was this little red dot of what use to be the civic. i slow down and he flys past me like hes special. ran into him a few days later at a car wash and turns out he had a turbo on the car and i walked him. he saw me and got back into his car and drove off. rofl stupid hondas
