I have been doing tons of work on this house, and today I did the yard. Anyhow, I got my Dad's utility trailer with lawnmowers and yard equipment and stuff hooked up to the hitch on the Jetta.
Tonight I was on my way over to the gas station with the trailer behind the car with the gear in it to fill up all of the gas cans. I am stopped at the intersection at a red light and a riced out newer Toyota Celica GT pulls up next to me with a couple of younger hispanic guys in it. They look over and start revving the tinfoil sounding engine. I just smiled and waited for the green.
When the green light came on they burned the heck out of the tires, I let mine chirp. They pulled about a car length ahead within the first 100 feet, and then I let the Jetta have it. Funny as hell! I pulled past them and ended up about 4 car lengths ahead. :lol: I was laughing my ass off. I pulled into the gas station just before the next light, and they pulled in behind and we talked for a while. The look of WTF on their faces when the Jetta pulled on them was priceless. An old crappy a2 pulling a utility trailer full of lawn equipment. :lol: Oh well, a fun night after all the yard work. 8)
