Recent recall on A4 Jettas (02/2004)

Just found out about this, problem with the brake light switch, which could result in the brake lights being on constantly or not work at all. For more information go to.

Guess this finally got to recall status, my sister had this problem on her '00 Jetta, but was fixed under warranty.

havent taken mine in yet...but i got the letter from them. has anyone had this happen to them?

Well, like I said, my sister had this problem on her '00 2.slo Jett while it was still under warranty, I took my '01 Wolfie in for the the recall and they replaced the switch, if the dealership isn't too busy it should only take them about 15 min to fix.
