its been doing this sicne i got the vr but when i lay off the gas all the way then get back on it. even really gently it jumps/ jolts like a loose motor mount or somthing. i havent gotten a chance to check it out but its annoying as hell. and i don't wanna have that baby moving on me.

grab a pice of the engine... intake manifold and try to move the motor... figure out which mount is broken, and get back to me.

So you can move the motor with your bare hands? That's gonna cost a pretty penny.

The main tranny mount on my coupe is busted... but I don't care cause my car is a beater.... It vibrates a bit, but.... like i say... BEATER. On the VR, and engine with so much torque i guess it's probably a good idea to get that fixed.

Should I be worried about mine? I plan on driving this car across the country...

ive put over 2500 miles on my coupe since I swapped the motor, and it' has been fine with only 2 mounts... I'd be worried if it was the rear mount or the front mount though.... those are the main weight bearing mounts... the tranny mount is just there to kinda support the tranny when the engine torques.

its not gonna be that much. for performance mounts its 179 for front , 169 for rear, 149 for tranny. so im gonna buy those and put them on

it's not that they are hard to replace, but they are a bitch to get to. Especially the VR6 cause the head is so large and takes up a lot of yoru working space.
