What would be, if any, a good fuel additive to clean or lubricate injectors on TDI?
just check out the automotive section in any store (if in or near Canada, Canadian Tire would be perfect) that has an auto section. there should be a couple selections. they really won't be all that different, unless you are going for a higher performance stuff, which i know absolutely nothing about.

If BG or LUCAS OIL make something for a diesel that would be the way to go.

I guess I really want to know is, the additives you can buy, do they work? Are they worth the money? Is there a substitute you can use?
I read somewhere that Canola Oil is a good additive. Anybody hear about this?
well, i've never heard of the canola oil, but i know these additives work quite well. they improve milage and less smoke as well.

Every 3rd tank of fuel, i would add 1 quart of automatic tranny fluid... 2 bucks at auto parts store... get the ford dextron brand or whatever... The cheapest and best way to do it.... ONLY 1 QUART WITH A FULL TANK.
