Hey, anyone know where I can find a guide for doing an oil change on my 2003 Jetta GLI (VR6)? I wanna do it myself but have never done it before. I need to know what size wrench and stuff I need.
No, I don't want to buy an entire service manual for my car -- I can't even find one anyway.

LOL you defintly know about Volkswagen owners sworn allegance to the Bentley.
Unfortunatly for me and you, I have never seen a VR6 up close, so I can't really help you out.

well, oil changes are pretty universal... Go to the dealer and get a filter, filter housing gasket, and 6qts of oil(you can buy that anywhere) Ask them if there is anything else you need. Jack up your car and drain oil, remove old filter, replace gasket, install new filter in its place, replace drain plug, fill oil, done.
"Oil change" the name describes it all...

Easy peasy. just get under there, and do it. Ive done alot harder stuff on my vano without guidance, and it still runs

Yeah, I'm sure it's not hard, but I didn't want to forget anything important. Also, it'd be nice to know b4 I jack my car up if I have the right size wrench or not.
