light modding help

ok guys im going to have a little chunk of cash to dump into my Jetta soon and here is what im getting..

Weitec Springs and Struts....60/40 drop(around $515 shipped)

Chip(around $100)

K&N Panel Filter, shave inners of the airbox for less restriction etc.($30-50)

then im sure I could squeeze out another small mod...maybe a short shifter..you guys decide...

Now I'm not sure on which chip to get..I want the most power gaining yet affordable solution...so shoot away...

I know nothing about chips, but you are going to have alot more fun driving your car after those mods. :D

u can do autotech, autothority, GIAC those would be my first choices for a chip for your mk3 2.0

I put in a k&n panel intake and swiss cheesed my air box..I have got to say I love the sound :) Throttle respondse is better and a little more power 8) Now...next is short shifter, Ill update you once its installed!

got it for 20 shipped of the tex :wink: it reduces the throws 30 and 80 %
now all i need is a weighted shift rod and im money :thumbs up:

Im going to be making a Billet Stainless steel shift rod for my car. I could make another for you maybe. Too bad that it's be about $30 just for the material and heim joints. But Im gonna do it right! haha
