My brother has a 71 beetle that he will sell me for 200.00, plus lost title fees (about $300.00)
It ran when it was parked...
I really want to get it, but i would have to put my jetta plans on hold. :?: :?: :?: :?:

you americans really amaze me... I haven't seen any of those old bugs since 1980 I think.... are you serious it is a 71 beetle???
In europe we do not see them anymore since a long long time ago, however when I travel to mexico, those bugs are really die-hard, I have seen taxis with more than 500,000Km and still running, crappy but running

2 cars is expensive... If you think you can handle it financially, I would get it, depending on condition of course.

Beetles are more common than corrado's and 2 door jetta's, lol. I used to have a beetle... Those things rocked, except when it came to reliable heat, and interior room.
