vans are cool, Ive always wanted an old aircooled surf bus. that would be sweet. Although, I can fit a 9'6" longboard IN my gti! I know! I had to stash one of my boards when my car broke down on a surf trip to Baja mexico.

That's so cool. I saw a old scholl VW van for sale today, I would have bought it but it was 4 hours away and I already have enough Vws.. ok I'm lying, I'm broke :( One day I think I would like to own one though

Besides the radio, i stuck on some new black bumpers. Now i just need to throw some conditioner on my plastic bits that arent so black to match the rest... any products people like to use?

Why don't you just get Kryon Fusion? Paint the buggers. You can use kiwi black shoe shine, or turtle wax.

Nah seriously nice car.This vanagon has a wrx swap in it runs 13's last time I checked he was getting close to 12's cool guy.I actually did a feature of his car on my website

I havent really seen the van lately... You getting close to paint? Have you decided on a color?

Paint will come in the fall, its been bloody hot, so i dont really feel like doing body work. As for color, i think ill just do it the same color as it is now. patience brethren, pics will be taken sunday, after a quick wash job.

So I bought some springs off a 90 Carat version of the vanagon, they will lower 1.5" from where its at now. I also picked up some power mirrors, they'll be arriving tomorrow. Now i just need to find some time to put everything on. In the meantime, heres how the van is right now. :)

thanks man, ill let you know for sure. Ill prolly be working on it during the utah game tonight. The mirrors can yesterday and look great aside form the fact that their t-red. So, how do i go about stripping them back to black? Also, would you happen to have a drive flange puller?

I would just paint them with some Krylon fusion until you paint the whole van, then just paint them then... I don't have a drive flange puller... I don't think you need one, they always just come right out after you get all the bolts off...

I'm going to cedar city tonight :( :( :evil: I wont be able to help you, but you can call my cell for moral support :D
