So ever since I got my intake... when I rev up really high and sustain it (such as if I were racing or something), quite often there's this intake tube that connects right where the intake connects to the intake manifold, and this tube just pops out, causing my car to turn off when I come to a stop. I"m guessing it's coming out because the intake takes in more air than the stock one, so there is more pressure. I'm not sure how to fix this, but does anyone have any suggestions? It's happened like 5 times now, and I can fix it in a matter of seconds at this point, but it's still a little embarrassing... lol

Try and find a bigger one is my only suggestion. If you ziptie it there's the chance the thing could explode or something worse, then you'd have some problems.

hmm, how are your motor mounts? when the front mount goes bad, it causes to motor to move under acceleration. This could be enough to stress the vac hose and pull it out. I'd check that first

okay... let's see... I don't know about my motor mounts, I'm definitely not ziptying, and I can't get a bigger tube because it has a metal fitting on the end...

What's really bad is, now my engine light came on yesterday, and hasn't gone off. This time it's not that tube though, it's gotta be something else, cause that tube seems fine.. I'm gonna post this problem somewhere else though, so keep thinking of stuff for this hose problem, thanks

I'd take pictures of the tube today, but it's raining... maybe next week when I come home from florida

Do you mean where the intake boot connects to the throttle body?I would need some pics to see if you have the proper connections on the throttle body
