First off I apologize for the crappy night shots, my camera licks butt in these settings. Anyhow I ordered some wheels about a week ago and they came in today, so I had them installed. These are going to take some getting used to, they are machine polished aluminum on the front and on the dish, and the inside is powder coated silver. Let me know what you think.

I actually got these wheels for $77.00 a peice through Discount Tire. They weigh in at about 16-17 pounds, roughly 3 pounds lighter than the original MB Motorsport wheels on there before. I love the look of some of the BBS wheels, but at almost $400 a wheel I thought that was a bit steep. I got the whole set for about $340.00 out the door, mounted and all. Also these wheels come with metal hubcentric rings instead of plastic ones. So do the math: $340 for everything you see in the pics, or close to $1600.00 for the BBS setup. Here is the link for them below:

Sonjay, I think these would look great on your Jetta. 8)

wow dude what a deal !!!! thats awesome lol
my rims and tires when i bought em new in 01 were 1050 LOL
lol still have 3 of the original tires on there , i found larger wheels and tires with a lighter car tend to last longer than the stock 14in

Here is the most redneck way possible to clean up the old wheels. These probably have 50,000+ miles on them, with countless outer cv axle failure-grease messes built up over time that have been splattered everywhere on the inside of the wheels. The pictures tell the story from start to finish, but all I can say is that two hours of scrubbing can get old. Damn!

Do A3 Jettas have a 4 or 5 lug bolt pattern? If it's 5, I don't think these will work out.

By the way, I love the wheel in the dishwasher pic. That's so awesome.

Wow, I didn't realize that people actually wanted these. They are MB Motorsports, can't remember the style. I know they weight 20 lbs because I weighed one with me on the scale and subtraced my weight. They are 4X100, 15x7. I don't know if I want to part with them or not, because they may come in handy on a rainy day, so to speak. Yes, they were cleaned up in the dishwasher after scrubbing the hell out of them in the tub. And I spent the night on the couch consequently, but it was worth it.

If you really want this style, I can pick up another set here at the discount tire I went to and ship them to you. I think that the set (unmounted) would cost around $320-$330-US, and then what ever the shipping cost is on top of that. If you are interested email me at 92vr6jetta@comcast.net

Also these wheels are available in 14X6 sizes as well, for a whopping $67.00 a peice. Basically add $10.00 to every one inch diameter size you go up. Mine were $77.00, the 16"s are $89.00.
