My engine sucks and swallows...

one of the VAM bolts wiggled itself loose yesterday and piston #1 decided it didnt like bolts. needless to say Ive got one f-ed up piston and head. Good way to start the week :D Oh, and its my only car. its mota-time! If only I had the time to build a sweet motor with all the tricks. Maybe I'll buy 2, drive one for now and build the other. I broke my record of 40 minutes removing a head! Yay for me!!!

Yup, i'll be working on it every spare minute I have until its done. I doubt the clutch kit will get here by saturday though :( I ordered it this morning and had em send it 2nd day air. I hope it makes it! If not I'll just be pulling the dead motor and cleaning/painting the engine bay(where could I get some t-red in a rattle can?) If anything you guys should come check out the carnage of the old lump. ewww.

well tonight I attempted to take off my intake manifold and EGR and I had no success so I was thinking that maybe I could come up and do it there so I could have some advice cause im just having a problem figuring out how to get certain bolts off... Do you think that would be ok?

Sure, thats fine. I wish I had a digi-cam so I could show everyone my progress. I stripped down the engine and took it down to the do-it-yerself carwash and pressure washed that mofo. Im going to do a rattle can rebuild tomorrow. No more dirty engine bay for me 8)
