ok my D.P.C.F either cracked again or blew out the O ring. i just got done putting a new one on. well not new. it was from that cabby. it has 117,000 miles on it but still. im soo pissed it blew out again. thank *** antifreeze smells otherwise i wouldn't of cought the gauge in time. i was about 3 miles from home, i threw on the AC so the fan would kick on and rolled every stop sign. barely made it home. does anybody know where to get a new Oring for that or do i have to make 1 from gasket maker?

which flange are you having trouble with?

on a side note, wouldn't it be better to blast your interior heater if you are trying to bring the engine temp down, rather than turn on the AC which will only make the engine work harder?

yea but it is the side falange going to the heater, so it was doing no good. so if you turn the AC on it make your fan go on no matter what blowing air over your engine. ok does anybody what size Oring i need for this thing, i pulled it off my cabby with the Oring and it seemed 2 big for the grove in the falange. should i get one the same size as that one. or one that will fit in the grove? im buying a new 1 tomm. so i need your guys input.

gotcha... i replaced both my plastic cylinder head flanges? with metal ones from an older mk2 engine... if you can find one that isnt rotten maybe consider replacing the plastic ones... as burn said, get an o ring from the dealership AND goop it with gasket goo when you put it all back together.
