im sure the voltmeter would work fine in your car... theres no way its specific to certain engines...
i think the term plug and play is referring to the fact that the meter comes ready for you to just snap into our of your dummy swtich locations, connect 2 wires (3 in the case of the A/F meter) and away you go

Its really easy to make flip down dummy ones out of a normal dummy switch... I used to use them to hide things behind. Just an idea for a cheaper version of it.

It says no soldering though, doesn't it? And, what wires does it connect to? heh..

Mine wasn't a voltmeter... just for hiding... um... things... but it would be easy to put a voltmeter in it, and make it flip down or out or something

Just ordered the volt-meter gauge for the VR. It should be a 15 minute install, ground it, then I'll just tap into the power for my headunit. Cake. I've swear I've got stop spending so much money on this damn car, it is like an expensive high maintenance girlfriend....... Meh..... :x
