I have a couple 1.6L TD engines in the garage, they all need work.

In the distant future, when they are readilly availible on ebay, I'll trade in my 1.6TD for a PD swap.

You know, as of right now the new PD's smoke more than the 1.9L TDI's. VW is holding many of the new PD cars at the ports right now until they can figure it out.

It's the marketing word for the technology in the engine.
Pumpe Dusse is the name of the technology in which fuel is compressed at 30,000 psi, and injected into the cylinders at VERY VERY high pressure... The fuel is atomized better... Just makes for a more efficient combustion cycle... Either more mpg, or more power whichever the engineer picks.

Alrighty, that's actually real nice. I will still stay gasser, diesels confuse me lol. I mean I know how they work and all but still.
