Sorry if this has already been posted, but the search bar on the page isn't working. Anyway, since when did Jetta Owners become merged with "Sport Compact Racing?" I go back to see what the link is to my avatar/sig, and I find I can't even log on. Piece of crap.

I was wondering when this would come up...
It happned probably 3 days ago now. 1eightT couldn't afford the $70 a year for the website subscription or something, so he asked the members of JO for donations, when that fell through he merged with SCR to eliminate the $70 fee.
Too bad the site looks extremely terrible now. I can still log in though.

In all honesty, if I was an active member of that site still, I would have left it as soon as the change happened. I think it is the worst possible layout and worst possible colors. And a few other things are the worst but I am not going there...

I heard about this "merge" of two sites... so disappointing... Jettaowners has officially gone down the shi**er... Jettaowners WAS an awesome site for information but now it has turned into one HUGE ADVERTISEMENT, every word that has to do with cars is now a link to a sponsor. The new owners first sold the site out to sponsors but now he sold out to another site...

In my opinion you should not buy/own a site if you cannot afford it... and if the site was good then you could easily get money from members! I know i would have!

Im sure other people feel this way as well, just no one wants to say it... but i will... if you want to ban me for saying this go ahead, im no longer going to support this place."

You know what else sucks there? You can make fun of any member on there as long as it isnt a mod and not get banned. The second you start dissing mods, bang banned. It's crapola.

I've put the brakes on recruiting people.

Instead of upgrading to a business line, could you run a dual internet connection setup? Like DSL and Cable?

Yeah I was totally stoked when I found this site. Thanks alot for taking the time to make it and get it up and running :D
