Late Nite Fun...

I got two stories here, ones not a racing one tho...

Last weekend i wen to this fair and hungout with my girlfriend and some buds of mine...after getting bored we tookoff to a coffee shop (tim hortons) all in my jetta, had it cleaned up for the weekend...anyways as i roll up into the parking lot i see these two BIG guys that look like bike gangstas comming toward my car as i park...it was late night and these guys look mean! so my firends like lLOCK UP YOUR DOORS WIND UP THE WINDOWS! then they came to my car and knocked on my window, police style! scared for my life and my car i roll down the window, and one of the guys says "I have fallen in love with your ride in about 5 seconds!"

hah after i got outta the car i start talking to them, nicest guys everr i start showing them all the work ive done on it n'stuff... then they pointed out there rides to me :D

One guy had a really nice rabbit cabrio pimped out with clear tails phat chrome bbs and just a overall drooling car :twisted: the next guy had a old superbeetle! pimped out my friend it had hydrolic shocks and chrome spoke rims!

as i said bye and go in for coffee i saw them staring at my jetta for about 5 mins, i was still a lil scared of them! And of course i told them about DUBNET!!

That's so awesome. I would defintly stare at your car if I saw it.

I hope they join the site. I want to see that rabbit. How old would you guess they are?

this happens to me all the time in my jetta... most recent comments i can remember are:
had a guy walk across in front of me while sitting at a stop light, checking out my car the whole time, after he got up on the curb he yelled over and asked what year it was... "88!" i shout back... he gives me a thumbs up and says keep it up!

then a couple weekends ago when i was stopped on the scale at a deserted truck weigh station (you guys may have seen the pics in another thread)... one minivan pulls in (you can see him in the pic, i was annoyed they pulled up right as i was taking a pic) and people get out, one guy comes strolling over to chat about my car! asks what engine i have and tells me he has a TDI Beetle at home and loves it...

VW passion i tell ya...

there are allot of dubber around my town, my friend that had a 91 white A2 got rear ended and the car totaled so im the only white A2around, that ive seen or been told about.

I hope one day people look at my car the way they look at yours. That is so sweet. I would love to get compliments like that.
