I was just wondering... I think I want porsche wheels on my car, I was just wondering that after I get the 25mm adaptors from 4x100 --> 5x130, will the wheels rub at all? I don't want to hafta pull my fenders...

a friend of mine just had a set of polished Porsche rims and the adaptors on Ebay, I'll check for the link, I'm sure it's ended by now. it's possible, is the car lowered? I know he has widened his flares before to accept lower bigger rims and such.

can't find the link, I'll see him next week - I'll ask about them then. It could be pricey they come with brand new rubber. I know the adapters were about $300 for the set. I'll keep you in mind.

Yea, I'm a little tight on cash right now, but if he's willing to wait, I can make some income... I have my ways...

You know... If you had an A2 jetta you could simply remove the plastic wheel well covers

this is true. After he went 17" and smashed it to the ground however he had to mod the fenders and rear quarters to fit them under the car. he has an A3 GTI that's a true show car. helps when you have your own garage that specializes in VW performance.

I think the wheels I want are boxter rims though, I'm not sure, I'll post pics later, when I have time and I'm not freaking out about my intake manifolds.

Yea, those are them, cept I want 17s. I've seen replicas of the wheels go for 1 grand for a set. That's probably what I'll get if I get some.

Yea, you can't buy 4x100 to 5x100 though, cause they overlap, but 4x100 to 5x130 does not overlap, so they can actually make adaptors, and you don't hafta replace the whole setup. :)
