headlights....?

Well as some of you know, someone backed into my precious GLI and I need new headlights. I just can't decide whether to get the oem GLI headlights with the black surround or to go with the e-codes, and just paint them black. Any opinions?

I saw that car at TDC, and saw you going down state after the GTG. I think it would look tight with either style. The black ones on the link look good.
