Some time when i get a chance i'm gonna drill holes in the big bumper and insert round bubble fogs...
So im thinking of making a DIY on it...
Ive seen a couple of a2's that have it done; looks sick
EDIT:
When its done it should look like this!

Do fog lights acutally help out with night driving if you aren't in fog? what about in blizzards?

I leave my fogs on all the time, just cause it looks cooler, lol. It helps night time driving, but not THAT much, cause the idea is to have the ground closer to you lit up.

As seen in the picture, I run two sets of fogs relayed off of a stock GTi switch I grabbed off of a car at pick and pull. I dremeled out the stock location for the OEM factory style fogs, (the car was a GL) installed the projector style fog lamps, and then installed another set of 55w autozone cheapies. Look wise the rectangular lamps are ugly, but they put out more than enough light.

Thanks for the compliments guys. In this shot you can see that they look sort of buck-toothish, I tried to get them to mount as far back as possible, but ran out of bumper to mount onto.

thats if you have "fog" lenses... if you get auxiliary "driving" lenses then they will definitely help supplement your low beams for distance as they are basically a second set of headlights... fog lenses just spatter the light out wide and low in front of the car to get below the fog/inclement weather you are driving in... and if you don't aim them properly its really easy to blind oncoming drivers... ever notice how annoyingly bright Pontiac Grand Prix and Montana fogs are? combination of poor factory alignment and the morons driving the vehicles using their fogs all the time, no matter what the conditions!

I'll be sure to align mine properly. I am always tempted to turn on my high beams when other peoples car's headlights etc are improperly aligned.
MalWart has a decent sized automotive section as far as aftermarket stuff goes. They even have the LED tire valve things. LOL.
