I drove past the police evidence yard, where they keep the vehicles seized from crimes etc. I saw a red a3 jetta with nice rims, new paint, lowered etc. It is soo nice it's not even funny. It was drug siezed...go figure. Anyway I have a friend whos mom is a cop and she agreed to check it out for me. Check the milage, check to see if it has a system etc, also if it is a vr6 or not! She said if it is worth while she will get me access to the yard to check it out... :D I am going to sell the jetta i got now if I know i can get it. I will have to win it at the auction though. POST with your thoughts! 8)

oh and how much do you think i could get for my jetta with the stock stereo and stock rims? 84-85k miles, only damage is the lil dint in the hood and i have to replace a sensor or something b/c of a rough idle...but when i get that fixed what do you think?

yeah me too. Yeah i was thinking about sellin my jet for like 4.5 or maybe 5 grand...not sure. Ill deff. keep you posted! :twisted:

Personally I would be a little cautious of a drug dealers car. Stoners tend to be bad drivers. Who knows what sort of condition that car is in. Who know's though, it may be a steal of a deal.

ahh burn bring up a good point. if you do get it and the former owner sees it and is mad he will prolly just steal it back and or trash it. so watch your self.

ok my friends mom went and saw it, she said it is a 5 speed, very custom. It was dark so she couldn't see much. She opened it to check the speedo for 140 or 160 but there was a poop load of stuff in it. So she closed the door. She alsio said they use drug siezed cars for undercover work sometimes so it might not be for sale:( She is going to take me out this weekend to check it out some more. :?

also said that it doesn't go up for auction until March, if it does at all. Dang they better ot keep it for undercover work!

4 lugs = 2.0slow
5 lugs = VR6 still somewhat slow

yea either to get people to come up and get druges cuz they know the car or to bust street racers. i hate how they do that. they get a hoped up car and when you race then they bust you. but they raced 2 so its 2 faced.

Yeah, im going to get some pics for sure, I saw a Visonik logo on the back windshield...looked it up and it is a system company. They make compition subs and amps etc. The smallest subs they make run 1000 watts and they are 10's!!!! 8)

That would be sweet man. But ya never know. The sticker might must be there to add 10 WHP like all the other rice mobiles (not saying this jetta is rice...)

oh most deff. not, the car is soo german, it's screaming it! very nice but not too flashy you know what I mean? If I can buy the car before the bid I will. If there is any possible way in my power to get this car...it's mine! 8)

About the price of your car... I got mine for 3800 and it's a Trek. I also got it with 2 12s in a bandpass box, with a 320 watt amp... Just thought I'd shoot that out there...

Try searching for a similar Jetta on www.autotrader.ca to see what other people are asking for thiers. Just remember it's in Canada dollars, not the green ones.

i went to kbb.com ...kelly blue book, and it is worth 5,950 to round it off. I bought the car for 4500, so im going to try to get at leadt that.
