how about ground control coilovers. that way, you lower it how ever much you want.

i agree to a point you can go TOO low, too low is when you have to think about if your car can make it over that speed bump, when i go to lower my car it will be with the h&r cup kit.

those aren't REAL coilovers, trust me i accidently bought those on ebay thinking they were the real deal but they are cheap knockoffs and they dont come with springs.

First of all, you guys are mad crazy. I have a 96 Jetta GLS... everything on that friggin car was mad stock. Went out, got myself the FK 60/40 cup kit from NGPracing.com and it was only 480 shipped. Not only did I order then on like, Wednesday afternoon but I got them Thursday too. That company is mad sick. Just bought whole bunch of stuff for a MK2 too. Needless to say.... it dropped the back a LIL lower than the front and since Im mad picky, I had to fix that. It was either cut a spring off or do it the right way and buy a lowering cap so I ordered a bonrath 20mm lowering cap and it evened out the front and back. If I didn't have to do that picture hosting ****, I'd post a picture. Want one, let me know. I'll hook ya up. Looks real tight and it made a HUGE difference. Need help, got questions, let me know.

I installed the Weitec coilover kit. $800 shipped to my door.

I purchased a FK 60/40 also, with the lifetime warranty(I might add) if purchased from a FK dealer. I believe this ride height is perfect except for the fact my 17" MOMO's wrapped in 40 series Falken tires rub when turning up a driveway any faster than a brisk walk. After around 2-3 months after installation they settled in about 5-8 mm lower then expected. I would be cautious of extremely low because you will eventually need to fender flare or widen your arches.

Pfff, if you can turn into a driveway quickly, you're not low enough. So you're at just the right height =]
