My biggest concern would be the ecu, starter, alt..etc. The motor and trans can be cleaned up and probably be ok mechanically, but all of the Motronic parts might be fubar. Who knows how long that thing had been submersed. It's worth a shot though, that car runs OBD-1. I would probably forget a dash swap from it, though. We can try and find out some info, for sure. At least if they sell it cheap for under $1000. the five lug conversion, rad $ shroud would be worth it, among other things.

I would be so pissed if that happened to my car, but I guess that is what insurance is for.
There is a Passat (I think) VR6 for sale, 1500 CND, all it's missing is a tranny.

hmm I hear a lot of CND whats the US to CND exchange rate deal? like one american dollor is equal to 3 Canadian Dollors ...catch my drift? :?:

Umm I think the dollar is trading at .78 cents? so for each CND dollar you give, you get 78 cents USD.
Our dollar is pretty high right now.

Cory, seriously... Let's call the Jordan PD and see what we can find out... There is a passat VR6 without an engine and tranny that is in the junkyard, and I conviniently removed the entire wire harness and hid it inside a volkswagen beetle... LOL!!! Not sure if it was obd I or II though.
If it all came down to it, I could run standalone management.
