My bet is that the administrator is not allowing avatars higher than certain pixels by pixels.

The only way you could go is lowering the size of the image or ask our administrator to allow bigger avatar sizes (PHPNuke allows to do so).

C'mon Diesel we won't put any porn images on avatars

There you go, I just put it up for you. That's pretty big... I don't really like it. Cory, you should find an image that's a bit smaller in pixels.

I don't think so. See how that throws off the margins for the whole website? The size of my avatar is pretty much going to be the limit.

Yes it looks weird I was just kidding about it, I have to scroll horizontally even when I got 1280x1024 screen, it sucks, you could mod the code, so that, every image is downscaled when exceed the size limit.

Cody: this one is probably better on size than the Hulk. How do you do that anyhow? This one is 100X80. Plus, this one has VW content!

Just put the image's URL on the proper field in the avatar section in your profile.

I tried to cut and paste it into the avatar section, it won't let me. I'm probably doing something wrong....

Just replace http://www.mydomain.ch/file.jpg for your URL and that's it.

Can't find anywhere to access that. I looked in the "your account" section, and the avatar show's a link to more avatars, then the drop/menu to choose from. Sorry about this, I'm new.

1. If you are seeing this message you're on the way
2. Scroll up until you reach the DubNetworks logo
3. There's a bar with the following options:
a) Forum FAQ
b) Search
c) Usergroups
d) Profile
4. Click on Profile
5. Scroll all the way down
6. You should see what I show in the previous pic.
7. Proceed as shown in the pic.
8. Bingo

EDIT: Found out what you're saying, maybe you are trying to update your avatar from PHPNuke Profile, remember that PHPNuke works with a module for the forums named PHPBB, both profiles on PHPNuke and PHPBB are slight different.
The Profile shown in the pic is the PHPBB, you enter it as explained above.

I does fit better, that is for sure. Now all I need is to learn HTML and all of that crap and I will be the king! In my occupation, I am trained to look at cable modem signal levels, upstream and downstream, look for IP addresses, and all of that shiznaz. Learning the actual web language is something that they never trained anyone in. All they want is secured modem connectivity, proper RF levels, and an IP address.
