Wow, what a beautiful car. It looks so good. What all have you put into it? Any specs for us?
Also, welcome to the site.

Dude, this is a truly sweet ride... As soon as I finish working on my friend's business's website, I am going to revamp www.wasserkuhler.org and we'll get the club going again... In the mean time, Sam (gotturbo on this site) has a 99 Jetta TDI and a 96 GLX VR6... I think we might have to meet up at a red robin, and discuss what we can do to save Wasser-Kuhler...
Keep in touch dude.

What' TDC's number Cory? I tried calling today but got a answerign machine without a message... I want them to quote me a price on this...
BTW,
I am going to start rebuilding the site tommorow night. I think I am going to call everybody on the member list that I can find a phone number for and see if we can scedule a meet in a few weeks and talk about restructuring the club and getting things going again.

Yeah, I talked to him today about a VR6 swap... He says he found a donor car passat that was wrecked, so I probably will give him the cash he needs to buy the car until I can afford the rest in a few months.

Wow! Pulled up the site and the Jetta is on the front page! :P It's cool to come to a place that will appreciate VW's. Cody, the Wasserkuhler site looks great too. Looking forward to a GTG soon. It's pretty awesome also that you're considering the VR6 swap. There are 2 vr6 A2's in Utah, mine and another guy up north in Davis County. I think that there are around 30+ up in Colorado. I think that if enough people here in Utah hear the sound of a VR6 cranking out of an A2 VW, there will be more to come. Livening up the Utah VW scene is fairly high on my list. 8)
Well... I could have my 1.8L digiFART turbo charged, to a grand total of 170hp at a cost of 4-5,000 dollars, or I could pay 4,000 dollars and get a non forced induction VR6 installed into my coupe that will yield 200 with header/exhaust and an intake. I've made up my mind. I can't wait for our meeting so you can take me for a ride in your Jetta.... I am super psyched about seeing your car... Wherebouts do you live again? Sandy? If so, I'm thinking about just stopping by your house on the way up to Salt Lake, then you can take me for a ride on the freeway
