i bought a t3 manifold for my 98 gti 2.0 aba. than i was given a nice t25 turbo form an old saab that spins very nicely and has no side play. so i wanted to by an adapter but where the air comes out of the turbo is opposite of where exhaust goes into turbo. unlike most turbo the cold come out at a 90 degree and faces up instead this one faces back. i tried looking for an elbow adapter from t25 to t3 but cant find any. idk if i should give up and get a t3 turbo or what? any help would be great ive been going nuts over this for the past few weeks.
here is the same turbo as i have so u can understand what i meant but the cold and exhaust are opposite
