View Full Version : ATTENTION ALL NEW USERS!!! CONFIRMATION EMAILS!

When you register with the site, a confirmation email is sent. Some of you are not recieving that email!!! Reasons unknown. I am currently working my ass off trying to figure out why this is occuring (or not occuring, in this case). For now, I have installed some code that does automatic activations. Meaning, once you create your user, the user is automatically activated... PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOU ENTER IN A PASSWORD, and don't let the site do the password creation for you!!! If you select "Generate Password" and you don't get the email, you will have to wait 24 hours from acct creation for the database to delete the user. ANYWAY, this is just a temporary workaround so that I dont' have to activate all your accounts for you... Simply create a user, and you should be able to log in immediatly... For those of you who actually DO recieve the email, please do click the activation link... It helps me with my records.

NO MORE EMAILS ARE SENT FOR CONFIRMATIONS, YOU ARE GOOD TO GO ONCE YOU SING UP! hopefully no more confusion will come of this!

i i just registered too and i dident get the email.
but my created username and password worked so im good

hahahaha... funny. Anyway, I basically posted this topic in a nutshell on the pages that you get when you go through the signup process... Some people who actually read everything durring sign up will see this.
