clutch chatter

Hi I have a 09 wolfsberg 2.0. When the car is in neutral i hear a clutch chatter, but when the clutch pedal is engaged it quites down. Also if you rev the motor alittle in neutral it chatters any answers?:(

Yes it is brand new and under warranty just wondering if this is normal for a new clutch breaking in? Thanks

No clutch should be making noise under any circumstances. Definitely take it in and have them listen to it. Even if it's something simple, you don't want it to break leaving you without a car for a week while VW repairs it. :)
