Hey guys... sorry I have been gone for so long... I did defect to Vortex for a little... sorry... I do want my project to be going down here as well.

Here's the link to the other build thread (http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=4056111&cmd=addnotify)...

I am going to try and keep up in both places now as well... I like your site as well, and everyone knows that you can never have too many resources to finish a project correct...

Here's the rotisserie completed... with the car almost completely stripped...http://i280.photobucket.com/albums/kk164/deepgrooves74/P1010002-1.jpghttp://i280.photobucket.com/albums/kk164/deepgrooves74/P1010004.jpg

I have to repair the frame damage at the torsion beam mount
before I can continue...
Here are a couple of pics of my progress so far...
First the driver's side which I ground the under coating off of so you can
see the spot welds. Mostly since the other side is completely rot.
Also in the picture is a section of frame I bought from a guy in California...
It's from a Cabby he cut up...

Here's what the other side looks like with new metal next to it:

Here's another view...

Just before Cutting...

Here's what it looks like today!!

The part of the frame that is half cut, and about to be pulled off is gone as well... I used my dremel and a sawzall to finish it...

Now I know I have to cut the other side as well to gain access to both sides... so here's the section of quarter I am about to cut...
