hall sender?

hey, im doing a compression test on my car, it says disconect the hall sender, i found it and stuff, but im courious what does it do?

basicly tells the ICU when to fire the coil

Is a compression test hard to do? Does the bentley explain it well?

no its very easy
just make sure you pull your fuel pump fuse
you just drive around and get the car warm
park it
pull a spark plug and screw the tester in
crank the engine over a few times
look at reading.

you of course repeat that for each cyl
just leave out the warm up part for the other three :)
