I have an 88 Jetta GL that I need to sell. The only reason I am selling it is because I just bought a 83 GTI that needs my full attention.

Here is the Good:

Excellent body, never in an accident.

Excellent interior, non-smoking owners

Techtonics Tuning catback exhaust with Dynomax muffler

K&N Air filter inside modified airbox

Dual round Headlight conversion.

Starts up immediately, every time. Very reliable.

All belts replaced about 3000 miles ago

New rear struts and strut bushings

Cut Front springs, on 96 Jetta Struts, with New Strut bushings

Just passed inspection, good until Feburary 2006

Oil always changed

Heater was broken when bought, now it works great.

Aiwa CD Player, with 4 Rockford Fosgate speakers in shelf in back, and two small Rockford Fosgate's in front dash.

The not so Good:

AC does not work well, but I am pretty sure a Re-chage would take care of it.

The left CV boot is torn, and the axle started making noise when you start accelerating. The right boot is still intact, but dry.

There is a little bit of rust on the underside, but it is not bad at all.

Back seat has a noticable grease spot from a Golf front seat that I put back there.

The Digifant engine is not a great canidate for modifying, but there are performance chips available, or an engine swap would be a good idea.

Specs:

1.8 liter 8 valve engine, with Digifant injection. 118,000 miles 5 speed Tranny.

4 Door

White exterior, with Gray cloth interior

I think that this car would be great for a VR6 swap because it is so clean and you could make it a sleeper.

I am asking $1500 for the car, I have put a lot of time and care into this car, and I would like to see it go to somebody who would appreciate it.

I have a website where you can see what the car looks like, but I am not selling the Konig Wheels with it. (Unless you really want them, then we can talk about it)

Check out the site here:

Please feel free to ask any questions.

Thanks.

I'm going to take advantage of where you said "feel free to ask any questions. How did you paint your bumpers? Did you paint your trim as well? Your car looks really sweet, you shouldn't have a problem selling it.
