Does anyone know if MK3 front bumper will fit on my MK2 (85). I love the bumper style (more then 90-92 bumpers). I don't mind cutting my side panels but I just don't know if the cars are the same width etc.

i wouldn't see why not, you might need to fab a braket to hold it but besides that it looks like its a bolt up. and would be alot better. so there isn't that dead space between the shifter and the ebrake.

From what I have read about the console it will fit but the e-brake doesn't go down all the way because it is farther forward in teh MK3 (I think). I want a MK3 dash but I just havent found one around where I live yet. I wanted to MK3 bumpers to confuse everyone since that is one of teh most obvios differences betwwen a A2 and a A3. Plus I like the way they look. It would look like the A2 the still make in China right? without the cool grill, but I could fix that....

That would look really cool... only MkIII bumpers are EXTREMELY hard to come by... You think we could find some chineese dude to hook us up?

Well my friend is from asia... maybe he has some connections lol...
If I could find some MK3 bumpers (no one wants them up here because there are only 2 tricked out VWs) would anyone want me to ship them out to them? I'm in Canada tho, just remeber that.
