This is probably mostly for Jay III to help me out with, but if anyone has any suggestions/comments that would be cool.
Ok, here's my ideas, the first is alot easier but the second is alot cooler IMO
I want to make my turn signals arrows (-> and <-) both front and back, using LEDs. I know a bit about electrical stuff but I am just wondering how many LEDs I can throw on there without burning stuff out and probably other stuff once i actually get around to it.
My second idea is this. (this is where it gets hard)
Remove the "jetta" and "VW" and "Volkswagen" signs from the back, cut a hole in my trunk along the back, like 1.5" high and 8-10 " long right in the center of the trunk. Then I want to build a casing, with one side covered in dark, super dark, as in you can't see through it tinted glass. That will be the side that faces outwards. Then I want to build a plate and line it with red LEDs that spell out VOLKSWAGEN and that come on when I hit the brake.
What do you guys think? Is it do-able? Will it look like cow dung when I'm done? I will defintly build the led VW thing before I cut a hole in my trunk but I just want some opinions first.
Thanks

It'll take 250 LED's to equal the wattage of 1 incandecent light bulb. That VW brake light thing sounds cool!

If it turns out I'll patent it and start selling them, you guys will get a discount tho. 250 LEDs... thats a fair few, I like it.

Thanks guys. As soon as I get one made up I'll get some pictures of it for you all.
I think it was JAY III who said he could get LEDs at a really good price? If you can PM me or just reply here about some details that would be appreciated.
