Hey I would have replied earlier but today is the first time I have seen these. What are the specs on those engines? LOL they spent like 10 minutes loading so best beleive I am going to comment...
I think that the only cars I am going to own my whole life is German made cars. I love the styling and reliability (most of them). It would take alot to get me to buy anything else.

That BMW engine is a 2.8L Straight 6 with and automatic 4 speed tranny. dunno the hp or torque specs... I do know that it get's owned by the following:
The Mercedes Engine is a 3.2L Straight 6 with a 4 speed auto tranny... It makes about 190-200hp at 6,300rpm
Both are.... REAR WHEEL DRIVE. Yeah, you heard it right... Rear wheel driven. By the way, is it just me, or does that MAF look really familiar to any A2 owners?

It's a 3.0L out of a 325i, actually :) I said 2.8, which was false... My bad.

Ohhh, btw... There's a 1989 300 somethign "Sport Edition" the hood opens the "wrong" way and it has a 4 cylinder engine.... They want 100 bucks for it, and I think I am goign to buy it.... If not mistaken it's a 2.5L 4 cylinder.

The hoods on e30's open towards the front of the car. Let us know if you get the car, I wonder what kind of condition it is in for that price.
By the way, if it is in a 325i, it should be a 2.5L engine unless it was swapped.

The motor is hosed... There's a hole in the motor big enough to fit a basketball through... The body is in excellent shape, and the interior is fabulous.

The pictured engine is the one I was refering to in my last post... I am probably not going to buy the car... I have no place for it... Besides, it's an automatic.
