After finding out that the starting solenoid died we decided to towe it with the TDI btw the catylitic converter and everything back is not hooked up. So while pulling it around it would start and be loud as hell the niebhors were all giving us dirty looks and pointing it was really really funny so after pulling it about 4blocks we took it back.... We were looking at it and noticed Cody had to forget to plug the MAF sensor in!!  So we tow it around another block before turning around because the timing was STILL off. After playing around with it for alittle while we finally towed it about 2-3 miles to the mechanic shop so hopefully monday they will beable to fix the timing. After all this I took Cody for alittle ride 70mph on main street!

!!!! I've been pulled over for going 40 on that road!!! I can't freaking believe I just went 70 on main street... Holy crap.... Anyway, it was quite amusing. I think I outta hook the cat back up, man that's loud!!! The 1.8L 8V's are atleast 4 times louder than the 1.6 diesels without mufflers... Anyway, hopefully Spanish Fork Diesel can figure out what the deal is, cause I am a gasser n00bie.

Sam, if I am buying your TDI from you I think I'll leave a gasoline engine in the coupe... mabey a vr6, or 5 cyl turbo quattro engine.
