Okay so me and like 15 people went to go see "the village"...

What did i think??? Lets just say that 13 out of the 15 say it sucked a**!!!

Please do me and yourself a favor and do not see this movie, it was horrible and pointless!

anyone else agree?

I thought it was an okay movie (saw it last night). Your right, it basically had no point.... THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVE NOT SEEN IT, AND PLAN ON DOING SO, DO NOT READ THE REST OF THIS POST All the movie I was trying to figure out the plot, then at the VERY end, you figure out that they are all out there because they wanted a "better" life... and the freaking monsters werent even real... There were a couple of parts that were kinda funny, lol... I'll just say this about the movie... I probably wouldnt pay to go see it... If you can get in to the movies for freee, then by all means, go for it... But I'd probably wait till it comes out on DVD to watch it again...

I give it a 6.5 out of 10

I don't know, I thought it was a good idea, but the execution was terrible. Bad acting, bad script.

I'm actually the exact opposite of that opinion... I thought the acting, filmmaking, and script were incredible, but the story itself was kinda whacko.

agreed, trhe acting was good, expecially that one crazy/retarded guy, he did an awesome job!

The acting was great!!! And I couldnt agree more abou the retarded guy... It was overall a pretty good movie, but like I say, the story wasnt all that great.

The Villiage was a MAJOR dissapointment! The trailer was scarier than the actual movie. Good idea, had potential, but somehow it failed miserably.

the acting was.. well.. commendable.. but the plot? :rolleyes: yeah, i agree not to waste your money on it.

ive been to the park where they shot that movie. one of the good things about him is he only films in eastern PA so im right there. but i though the movie was great. had to watch it twice to really get a good idea of what was going on.
