What do you think of the vw pickups? Are they RWD, FWD? Do they handle well?

RWD, i had a plan to make my jet RWD by taking the parts from it but i heard that its really weak, and wouldn't hold up to well. and to turn your engine would be a bitch 2.

Asuming that you are talking about the new one that is coming out and not the rabbit truck... Rabbit trucks are Front wheel driven.

the 300 hp engine i was talking about was the audi 5cylinder 20v turbo, which i have been told was 300 hp stock

yeah, that motor looked to me to be the standard 16v 4 cylinder of vw, only with one more cylinder added on, and a turbo. The only problem is that its made for an audi, not a vw, and i think it was diesel who said it needed to be turned for a fwd car, like a jetta. Ive only seen the motor on the awd audi cars.

You might be able to get a fox tranny do a few mods and make it work... YOu'll probably have to bring the front bumper and grille forward a few inches to compensate.
