In hoping that someone in here is good with vagcom. I deleted my air pump on my aba and I need the configuration to delete the whole thing off the ecu so the check engine light goes off and so the car will stop thinking that there is. Also I've been thinking of ripping my tranny off and going with a close ratio gti tranny got the tranny just last time I used it I might have effed it up. The inner cv bearings rubbed into the actiual housing think it's still usable?

What do you mean the inner CV bearings? You mean the flange bearings?

Yeah well actually the inside where the cv axle and tranny mount together you can see where the bearings like rub in and left some indents on where the tranny and cv axxle bolt together

You mean... this?

Those connect directly to the differential! How badly are they rubbing and where? I'd say that pretty much renders the transmission useless until you fix it. I wouldn't bother installing that in your car, cause you'll probably need to yank it shortly after to fix that.

Try removing the drive flanges... Get your impact wrench and buzz this bolt off:

I know there are seals surrounding the drive flanges... These seals keep the gearbox fluid in the transmission. If that flange is whipping around freely, those seals are sure to be bad. I have never removed drive flanges before, but perhaps you could take those off and see if there is some kind of bearings that you could replace without expensive tools. Remember... these slide right into the diffy... if it's flopping around too bad it could have damaged the diffy.
