first of all im not vwnoob, im sausageburner same as here... and sam i have always had those rims and i agree with diesel in saying i dont like them that much either, they are temps till i get my black rims.

they are alright but i want to get black 16's or 17's... which size do you think would be better, im kinda leaning towards 16's cuz of the lowering job.

17's barely fit on a a2...and when lowered you have to roll your fenders and such...so no i doubt 20's would even fit in the wheel well.

I've seen 18's on an A2 so i know i could go that big, bet i could fit 20's on with alot of molding! 20" Spinners here i come!

i like the stock rims that came with the GLI's, buy them at the junkyard and polish them up, look great

or you could take some 18" off of a 20th aneversary jetta and have them polished and chromed. :D
