Hi guys,
Currently busy re-doing a my girlfriends '94 MKI Golf in all sences of the word.
I've Decided to go with the 2006 Golf Velocity's Black Hood lining, 2003 Velocity Dash, 2006 indicator / wiper Stalks, 2003 Velocity Cluster, Velocity carpet and so on.
Let me know what you think :)

i didn't know they made Golf I's in 1994, that's all.
unless i'm mistaken it's a non north american thing

Thats a 94? WTF?! Should be 84'. Where are you located? RHD, I see... that's very cool.
maybe it's the same thing as the old beetle being made in mexico until recently

Some vw producing countries adopted the "if it aint broke, dont' fix it" ideology. The mark 1, for instance. Just needed a little refining here and there.
Anyway... very cool.

Mean to say they don't manufacture MK1 Golfs in Utah anymore? :)
They're still manufacturing them here in a big way, its one of the most popular hatches on the market. South African Government also uses a lot of MK1's.
2006 Model had a basic facelift, new tail lights, new bumper and new interior, but the rest of the parts will still fit on a 1974 golf. :p
As for as their window winders, they have used the old MKIII winders. Once again, you cant improve on perfection :)
