My friend, Mat called me yesterday evening to tell me about a delightful find in the local Pick N' Pull. A 1.6l Turbo diesel engine. For those of you who do not know diesel, this is the highly coveted engine desired by those who cannot afford a TDI, or those who wish to build an extreme performance diesel.
It came from a United States diesel model. 1986 Jetta. The car/engine has a little over 100,000 miles. This is my third 1.6TD find and I will most certainly add it to my parts collect, archiving the parts for later use.
This is a very very rare engine in the US. Anyway... enough bragging. :D
