Up for grabs is a 1992 Jetta with a VR6, OBD-1, O2A transmission. This car has AC, which works great. Pretty meticulous maintenance has been performed on it. Car is pretty clean. There are a lot of extra parts laying around, including an A2 Jetta and Golf Bentley manual, Mitchell CD-Rom manual, + more. Car is equipped with an older stereo system which still kicks some pretty good ass. Lots and lots of new parts have been installed as of late. Comes with a Thule ski/bike rack, the car also is equipped with a trailer hitch (reciever style) and works great pulling jet skis, dirt bikes, even Harleys. Reason for selling? It just sits in the garage with a maintenance charger on it, so far in 2007 it's seen about 200 miles.

Wow... this car is sold. Got a check yesterday for it. Got full asking price. Looks like it will be on a truck next week sometime headed for California. Still sort of in shock about the whole thing.
*tear* make sure whoever bought it joins dubnet, then you can keep in touch with your car

I tried to buy it to save it from becoming "teenagerized", but he found a good adult buyer that will respect it. Props to you man... one of the cleanest Mark 2's in the history of the world.

Thanks Cody. It look's like this car will be on a truck headed for California on Thursday. The new owner has several VW's, so I feel a little better about letting it go to this individual. So many memories in this car, my wife and I went on our very first date in it, our three kids came home brand new from the hospital in it, I've wandered all over the Intermountain area on road trips, getting involved in the local dub scene and meeting a lot of cool people, etc. So to say it's been hard to pass it on has been tough.
As far as VW's go for me it may be a little while. I've really been wanting to track down a super clean Corrado SLC, however those are pretty rare, especially here in Utah. I'll probably wrench on the Mustang here and there, but my main focus this year has been on the house.
I'm going to be selling a lot of my VW diecast collection, primarily the 1:43 scale (about 3 inches long). Some of these replicas are pretty rare, hard to find. I have a pretty large collection of VW's and Audis and am keeping about half. Here's a list of what I've got.
1:43 Minichamps 2001 Jetta Wolfsburg, silver.
1:43 Schabak 1996 Jetta, red.
1:43 Schabak 1989 Jetta, green.
1:43 Schabak 1989 Golf, grey.
1:43 Schabak 1991 Corrado G60, blue.
1:43 Shucko 2000 B5 Passat, silver.
1:43 Minichamps 2004 Phaeton, blue.
*1:18th scale, about 10-12 inches long.*
1:18 FAW 2001 1.8T Jetta, silver. (This one is extremely rare, probably less than 50 to 100 in north america)
1:18 Welly 2000 B5 Passat, gray.
1:18 Revell 2001 GTi, red.
1:18 Maisto 2000 New Beetle, red.
*1:24 scale, about 6-8 inches long.*
1:24 Maisto R32's, 3 total, red, blue and black.
1:24 Franklin Mint 2000 New Beetle, red.
*Misc. scales*
I have a ton of 1:64 scale Matchbox, Jada, ...others, of MK4 and MK5 GTi's. Even a couple MK2 Gti versions. I also have a less common Fujimi 1:24 scale plastic kit of a MK3 VR6 Gti, and a Revell plastic kit of a MK2 GTi 8 valve available. There's probably more I've missed. Oh, and I have a VW tin sign you hang on the wall (about 10" diameter) available as well.

That has to be the nicest Mk2 i've ever seen, and they're pretty common around me. Easily the best car on that truck. Too bad it's leaving Dubnet...
