Anyone know if it would be posible to run factory fog light in my 95 golf if it did not come with any. if i go out and get a set should i try to wire tem to a factory foglight switch or just run new wires to a relay and then to a toggle switch.?

In Mark 3's the foglights are operated by the headlight switch where you pull the dial "out" and that turns the fogs on.... You'll need to get one of those switches. Also you would probably need to get a bently manual and study wire diagrams to figure out how the splice into the headlight switch harness to operate the lights. Everything should fit, but it might be a pain in the ass if you don't get the entire switch and light harness from the donor car.

I added factory fogs to my GL and it was really easy. All I did was buy a smoked fog light turn signal kit, a euro headlight switch and a wiring kit from http://www.evolutionsports.com . As it turns out the car even if it doesn't come with fogs is wired from the switch to the headlight harness. So when you get the wiring kit from the site mentioned above it's pretty much plug and play.

I connected a set of foggies to my jetta 3, test behind your light switch to find the wire that powers up when you "pull" the switch. I suggest putting a relay in as well.
