Audiobahn's are nice subs. I've heard them on many occasions. They seem to hit a little to hard on the high end for my tastes though.

audiobahn subs are SPL subs, not SQ. i am definatly an SQ guy although my system can bump your brains out if i wanted to. i am currently hitting dual 10" boston acoustics proseries subs, they replaced my mbquarts from my old car, which are now collecting dust in my closet. audiobahn are nice for spl subs though, just not my style. hope you like. 8)

I like diamond subs, im running one 10 at 500w, when it was new it would open the trunk when playing techno, i had to re-mount the trunk latch on my mk2 jetta to fix that problem.

Völfenhag subwoofers are THE BOMB! They sound so nice.... Audiobahn makes good crap too.

What's the difference between SPL and SQ?

What's the difference between SPL and SQ?
SPL: Sound Pressure Level (IE: the kick or "da boom")
SQ: Sound Quality (IE: High quality, deep clear and crisp bass)
I am totally for SQ. I'd rather have the SQ over SPL any day... You can't have both really... YOu have to sacrifice SQ for more SPL, and vice versa... There are some speakers that hit pretty hard and still make great sounding bass too.
