i've got a subtle noise coming from under the hood

The other day I was next to an ATM and i could hear something that sounded like a hamster on a wheel, or a small bird chirpping at regular intervals.

It's pretty quiet, and so subtle I'm not sure if it was doing it before, but with the way I'm noticing it now, I don't think it was there before.

I kinda think it's the fan, but not sure and was hoping someone else has had the same occurance.
It's always worth asking ;)
