This is my 96 jetta, I just got it last week, and Im slowy starting to do things to it.

Good choice... 2.0's are the perfect car/engine to get started in the VW community. Parts are the cheapest, they get the best economy and they are pretty fun to modify.... Looks like yours is in really good shape... Run with it. Don't let bird crap stay on your paint... Try to keep it out of the water as much as possible.... Fully wax and buff it 2 times a year. Get all the fluids changed.... My GTI is black... I love black. I also love white. White and Black VW's (IMO) are the best colors.

I dont anymore, I took it out to add gauges. Lol
