I have a 1996 VW Jetta GL with the 2.0 motor. And Im installing an air/fuel ratio gauge, and I cant figure out with one is the sending wire. I hooked it up to the solid orange wire thinkin it was the signal wire, but it wasnt. So if anyone could help me out I would love it.

i think there are 4 wires. 3 grouped then 1 seprate. anyways the wire all by itsself is the singal wire. Now you want to slipce it in AFTER the harness. So from the harness to the ECU you want to splice it in. otherwise it will mess with the reading and then by by a good runing motor.

It was the single wire, so now I have my air fuel hooked up, now I need to get my oil, volts, amps. lol

well the volts is easy just take it off the acc wire and or an open fuse spot on the block. the oil there should be a sensor on the side of the head. on the drivers side. i think im not totaly sure about that as i have a vr6.
