Hey everybody so I tried getting in my car to go to laundry today and it wont start. I checked the clutch switch and that seems fine. It will only start if you sit there with the key turned for a while and that is only one out of 10 tries. It was working fine last night but I'm thinking it's the ignition switch. Any clue ?

does it turn over or you turn the key and nothing?

Ignition switch or ignition cylinder seem like the likely culprits

It wont turn over unless you play with the key a bit. Also I tried starting it last night and it worked so it's not the starter. I'm at 162000 right now so I wont be surprised if it's the ignition switch.

you have to test it at the harness while turning the key with a voltmeter... there is 2 thick red w/black stripe wires thats the starter turnover wires one in 12v constant and the other only under key turn so if you turn it over and nothing its the ignition if you get voltage and no start arughhh wire trace down for a short time...

ps if no voltage on the main power in then sometimes it comes up you wil have to hunt down the other way on the wire short search...
